General Manager

Kevin Perrin, Ian Cunningham and myself purchased Rana Manufacturing from the Founder, Earl Gardiner, and on April 1, 2016 ON2 Solutions was born! Kevin and Ian provide invaluable off site operational and logistical support, while I manage and provide direct operational leadership to our team on-site. We are committed to continuing the values that reflect those of RANA; to deliver high quality, high value gas generation systems and services.

For the past 25 years Earl built an exceptional company and reputation in the medical gas industry on two principles; Reliability and Service. We intend to continue with these ideals as we create a company who is respected by both customers and competitors as a provider of quality reliable oxygen and nitrogen systems worldwide. Our goal is to expand these quality services and products into the Industrial Oxygen and Nitrogen arenas and quickly establish ourselves as leaders of Application Solutions.

Other Hats that I have worn prior to joining the ON2 Team: I started with Ontario Hydro many years ago and rose from an electrical operator to a transmission officer within the company. I had the honor and challenge of leading a team who created the Control Centre tools for Hydro One, which won numerous awards over the years. I left Hydro One to take on the exciting new opportunity of managing Algonquin Power’s first Wind Generating facility in Canada. Over the next 8 years I became the Director of Operations and lead 120 Operations and Engineering team members who operated and maintained 45 different Energy Generation Facilities in Hydro, Wind, Thermal, and Solar.

Skills and Education that I bring to the ON2 Team:

Bachelor’s Degree: Astrophysics

NERC Certified Electrical Operator

Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing Certification

Project Management Professional Certification

Certified First Aider and First Responder Certification

WHMIS, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, COR Safety Certification

An experience that “Took your breath (oxygen) away:  “The flight that my father took me on in a CF104 Starfighter. I was 9 and will NEVER forget the thrill of that flight! This experience inspired me to pursue my pilot license, which I achieved when I was 17 years old.”
